Served WW1 killed 24-10-1914 when the regiment was neatrly wiped out. Commemorated Menin Gate.

Served with the 2nd battalion in South Africa from February-August 1900. All clasps confirmed. This is his only entitlement.

Arthur Lewis: born in Halifax in 1858, died 1931 Bradford District.

He was 42 when he went to war in South Africa - quite old for a front line soldier. He had been on the Reserve since 1891.

GF condition - numerous edge knocks and marks to Queen's cheek..
